1.EXPLAIN IN DETAIL ABOUT THE MENTOR/MOTHER TEACHER CONCEPT:
For every group of 25-30 students, a Mother Teacher is placed. The Mother Teacher/Mentor is responsible for all the daily chores of the child. The role of a Mother Teacher includes:

  • Assisting the child in completion of homework and learning session
  • Motivating the child for his overall development.
  • Building a balance between scholastic and co-scholastic areas of a child.
  • Listening and understanding to the complaints of the child as well as the parent
  • Taking care of the sickness and health related issues of the child
  • Taking care of etiquettes and habits of the child
  • Guiding in games and other activities of the child.
  • Monitoring clothing and dress code of the child.
  • Telephonic conversation between parent and child

2.WHAT IS PICK & DROP FACILITY?
Neither the parents will come to school for picking their wards during the vacations nor the students will go alone. The Mother Teacher/Mentor or School Staff will make all the possible arrangements to pick and drop your child safely to/from home. This effort will not only help us to save your valuable time and money but will also help us to maintain a proper reporting of child to the school campus.
3.WHAT SCHOLASTIC OR TEACHING FACILITY IS PROVIDED TO THE STUDENTS?
The backbone of the teaching facility lies on three important factors:
  1. Class occupancy.
  2. Quality of teachers and books.
  3. Teaching methodology
The maximum class occupancy in Naincy Convent is 20 students including boys and girls in Junior wing and extends up to 25-30 in Senior wing. The teachers possessing good communication skill having wide and rich experience from teaching industry puts all their positive energy to solve and teach tricky jargons of different subjects. We solely follow NCERT curriculum but up to class VIII instead of NCERT books, we are using books of renowned publications so as to indwell comprehensive knowledge in kids. Teaching modules are designed by the teachers with the fundamentals of activity based learning. Studies are never burden for Nancians. Discovery learning modules with open ended questions are utilized having methodology of “I do, You do, We do”. For the students of XI & XII, schooling with coaching concept is utilized, where IITian faculties from coaching industry teaches every chapter of NCERT according to engineering and medical entrances. Daily practice papers (DPP’s), Minor, Major and fortnightly test series are conducted for these students so as to remove competition phobia from their minds.
4.WHAT IS THE DAILY ROUTINE OF THE SCHOOL?
The daily routine of the School starts from 6 ‘o’ clock in the morning with warm up exercise and Yoga sessions lasting for 45minutes, than the students change up and get refreshed for their morning breakfast. Academics start from morning assembly and gets over by 2:30 P.M. After that a changeover time of 15 to 20 minutes is given to the students for sports activity which gets over by 4:45 P.M. Then 15 minutes is provided for tea and evening snacks. After this, the evening preparation classes starts, which carries on till 10:30 P.M. for the students up to class X and 12:00 P.M. for the students of XI and XII class. Between the academics and evening preparation classes, Lunch and Dinner is the compulsory part.
5.SINCE STUDENTS COMING IN CLASS 11TH CHOOSE THEIR STREAM ACCORDING TO THEIR FUTURE CAREER. WHAT SCHOOL IS DOING IN THIS REGARD?
Ans: For the students of class 10th, the school organizes special C.G.T’s (Career Guidance Talks). As soon as the student comes in 11th class, the school provides special coaching for medical and engineering entrance. School is dedicated to provide the selection of students in the professional college as soon as they pass their board exams.
6.WHAT ARE THE OTHER CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES APART FROM ACADEMICS, CONDUCTED IN SCHOOL?
Ans: Naincy believes on the fact that 30% of success lies in academics where as 70% of it indwelled in the overall personality development. In order to stress on 70% part, co-curricular activities like music, dancing, singing, quiz competitions, extempore, debate, sports etc. are the vital part of our curriculum. All these activities are focused throughout the year and the competitions are conducted house wise.
7.IS SCHOOL GIVING EXPOSURE TO THE STUDENTS REGARDING FUTURE COMING COMPETITIONS?
Ans: The school prepares the student for various interschool competitions like debate, essay writing etc. Apart from this the school prompts and encourages the students for international and national exams like NTSE, OLYMPIADS etc. Every year our students are recognized at national and international level.
8.WHAT SYSTEM IS FOLLOWED IN HOSTEL/DORMITORY?
Ans: Cozy and comfortable hostels are provided to our kids in order to give them a homely feeling. The complete hostel is under vigilance of CCTV where all the activities of child are registered. The hostel wardens and mentors teach the students sanitation and living habits. Various emotional aspects are taken care off for individual child. The student goes to the hostel only during their sleeping time. Individual comfortable beds are provided to each student. A special area is there in hostel premises where the lockers are provided to the student. The student keeps the toiletries in their individual lockers.
9.HOW MANY STUDENTS ACCOMMODATE IN A SINGLE ROOM OF HOSTEL?
Ans:Individual rooms of hostel are big enough to accommodate maximum of seven students.
10.IS P.T OR YOGA NECESSARY FOR EACH STUDENT?
Ans: Yes except the students who are medically unfit based on Doctor’s recommendation
11.ARE STUDENTS LIABLE TO KEEP MOBILE PHONES WITH THEM? IF NOT, THEN HOW THE CALLING IS DONE TO THE PARENTS OR NEAR ONES?
Ans: The mobile phones are strictly banned in the school and hostel premises. The calling facility is provided to the students through telephone booths installed in the campus. The calling can even be initiated through mentor/mother teacher.
12.HOW IS MEDICAL FACILITY PROVIDED TO THE STUDENTS WHEN THEY ARE SICK?
Ans: The daily report of the students is collected by mentors and chief administrator regarding their well being. If a child is sick, he/she is immediately sent to sick room for proper identification of sickness or ailment. Under the supervision of Nursing staff, the medicines are provided to the sick ones. If the problem is serious, the student is referred to hospital.
13.IS ANY RAGGING OR TORTURING DONE BY THE OLD STUDENTS TO THE NEW ONES? HOW THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION MONITORS IT?
Ans: Ragging or torturing of new students is strictly banned and since the past 20 years history of school no such cases were observed. More so ever the school administration is very much vigilant on this issue. The school organizes a proper introduction sessions of new students in Fresher’s party. All the new and old students along with the school staff are part of it. For complete one month, daily conversation of associated mentor with the kids is done so as to make them comfortably adjusted to the boarding environment
14.WHAT ABOUT THE MESS MENU?
Ans:The mess menu is different on different days for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Recommended dietician plan balanced diet for the better physical and mental growth of child. The mess committee comprising of teachers and student prefects decides the menu
15.IS MILK NECESSARY FOR ALL STUDENTS?
Ans: A glass of milk is served to every student during the breakfast time. As we believe that a glass of milk is a healthy start of the day.
16.IS SPECIAL DIET PROVIDED TO SICK STUDENTS?
Ans: Based on to the prescription of medical practitioner special diets are provided to students.
17.IS EATING HABITS AND ETIQUETTES MONITORED FOR YOUNGER AND ELDER KIDS?
Ans: This is one of the prominent features of Naincy convent where the students are taught to eat properly with spoon and fork. The mess manager and team of mentors are in continuous teaching mode for dining habits and etiquettes to the students.
18.WHAT IS THE FEE SCHEDULE? WHAT IS THE MODE OF DEPOSITION OF FEE?
Ans: The fee schedule is according to class which can be consulted through academic counsellors and admission division. Mostly the school prefers one time deposition of fee however a provision of instalment (maximum 2 in a gap of one month) is also kept.
19.WHAT IS THE MEETING TIME OF PARENTS WITH THEIR WARD(S)?
Ans:The parent of new joiners can meet their ward after one month, as this span of time is necessary to adjust the child for boarding environment. After that, last weekend of every month, the parent can visit school campus to meet their ward. 20.HOW MANY DAYS OF VACATION ARE PROVIDED TO THE STUDENTS?
Ans: The school calendar is given to every student for vacations, activity and test schedule. You can refer to that.

23.IS ANY VACATION CAMP ORGANIZED BY SCHOOL FOR KIDS?
Ans:Our’s is a winter bound school and the session gets over in the 1st week of December. After this, the winter camp is organized by school which has a lot of fun, activities and learning. During winter adventure camp writing skills, maths magic, adventure sports and activities of science through experiments are done for enhancing learning skills of the child under the guidance of trained professionals.
